Oh..SO Painful!....

and tt was how my colleague described it.

Yes!! it sure was painful. we started out excited...every single one of us...some even wore heels..haha...imagine their look at the end of the whole banquet event.hahaa...

everyone's face looked as if they were gonna cry anytime. even the guys looked like they were "dying".

yup...i nvv knew being a server was tt tiring...i've totally experienced it and the only thing tt kept me going was "Imagine how much u can lose after doing this" and i got all smiley again..despite the feet aching,almost losing its senses and the arms aching holding all those very heavy plates and trays.

One more to go for this month on Sunday!

Jack of all trades...Master of.....

on top of my usual work load, now we are also assigned to help out in various departments as and when needed.

So..last week,i was attached to the HOUSEKEEPING department for half a day - 8am-12pm.

I ALMOST DIED Man..because i wanted to lose wt, i 'kay kiang" and chose not to take my breakfast thinking i'll burn more calories like this. hahaha....like at 10am,i was almost dizzy man.

It was an interesting experience tho. I was attached to a housekeeping auntie, and she was in charge of making the beds,while I clean the toilet - scrub toilet bowls, scrub bathtubs, scrub walls, floors etc.Everything tt needs to be cleaned up in the toilet, I DID IT!! it was pretty fun i wld say. And when I felt like giving up,guess wat my motivation was?

"CAN LOSE WEIGHT!!!!" & " Very long nv dance and stretch le, so it's time to stretch more!!" - the 2nd is more when i had to reach the walls and the opposite side of the tub.

Good experience, i wldn't mind doing it again. =)

Friday (which is today) and SUnday, I'll be a BANQUET SERVER.....will share more once it's over!

I had great company,and a surprise bouquet. Nv was a fan of flowers,but am growing to appreciate what some wld call a waste of money. (I was one of those who said tt too.)

my bestest fren at work and my spiritual 'mentor' and friend - MOKKIE!!! she attended this event just to give me her support!! and she's the one I'm super super super thankful for whether it's work,relationship,friendship or watsoever. I can bitch to her whenever i need to as well.

And the event is FINALLY FINALLY OVER!!!

Imagine having such sighs of relief quarter after quarter.....and sleepless nights time after time. But nevertheless, everything was worth the effort!

I couldn't have done it without my colleagues who were very helpful throughout this whole process altho it did get tiring at times because I had to repeat myself over and over again.

Safari Zoo Run

Definitely wun forget this event.

Firstly, because this is the first time this event is held and more importantly, it's the 1st time i forgot to bring along my bib.

Thank goodness they had spare bibs and i was given 1!

Very interesting run i must say. even tho it's only 6.2km, unlike usual smooth roads and stuff, the first 3km is a long run full of uphills and down slopes.....i was just joking with Isaac how i usually incline at a high slope for a min....today's definitely put my endurance to the test.

All in all...it was really fun yet tiring..

definitely!!nt tt i will cry over guys....but def....a stronger person thru the broken friendships i've lost.
