One of my MOST disappointing run. First time walkin in a 10km run..sigh....it's true tt when u're really tired, you just dun have the motivation, mood or stamina to go on. I'm gonna start training by going for more combat classes now. I think tt helps more in building up stamina.

Next up..Yellow Ribbon Project Run in Sep..

Great Eastern 10k in November...

And....stan chart 21km in dec.

Will prolly retire from running next year.haha..shall see how

carol's wedding was a blast!definitely more entertaining den most i've been to....and as part of the planning comm.....it did make the wedding more enjoyable.

So fragile...so unexpected..

When we heard the news this morning, our hearts sank and we were all shocked tt our fellow company was affected to. And it got me thinking...about how vulnerable we could be.

My hotel cld have been the target...and I wonder if tt ever happens, will we ever be ready for it?

Life is so unpredictable isn't it? When you gotta go...you gotta go...

My deepest condolences to the victims and families,friends and relatives of those affected by it.

6more days...just 6 more days!

I hope i'll really be rejuvenated after my vacation...i seem to have lost motivation for everything...exercise, eat,diet,work....seems like only shopping and sleeping still keeps my sanity.

The world of recognition

the 4th time I'm planning for this event....

one of those who won the employee award....and she truly deserve it! Eunice has been helping me with alot alot of tasks and nv once do u see her angry or even getting impatient. If she has hit tt level, you know tt u've gone way way beyond hope!

and then there's Chef...Benton who's really down to earth and good natured. Talking to him always makes me feel like I shld be thankful where I am. Another one who really live up to the company culture. For a no.2 in the division, he is truly 1 humble guy who puts on no air!

den there's my jogging khaki whom some call papa lai...or lao pa....dir of engineering who's so comical and entertaining, it's never boring when you have him around. and know what? He has more stamina den I do lor!!!

and some of the guys from his department!!!! They won the department award for this quarter and I'm so happy for them. These guys truly are the best! And whenever u call for help, they won't say no but if possible, will assist you immediately. Their boss has taught them well! :D

another humble dir who works literally alone because noone is undeer her. Won the leader award and everyone agreed that she truly deserved to win!she's amazing. looking at how she works, one can nv comprehend how she manages to go thru all tt.Being in charge of Quality, mei nv fails to enliven whatever needs to be done. She's a walking example and everytime she says "good morning joanna" or "hi joanna, taken your lunch?" or in the likes of it. So at times when I feel like flaring up, I'll think of her or go to her office (which is just diagonally opposite mine) and I'll feel inspired to walk the talk.Congrats Mei! You truly deserve this and I'm glad u were surprised! :D

my wonderful department! What would I do without them? My events can NV be successful w/o every single one of their help!

and the gals + bro who literally saved me from deep shit. Boss and I were just talking thru the agenda when she decided that I had to come up with a better entertainment cos she felt our dept just weren't ready.approached angela and thank God for her assistance in getting so many pple.

the unexpected for this lady who's like our mother..who nv fails to provide me with creams for my sprain or fracture or what have yous. And the patience and tolerance whenever I irritate her with hokkien, indian or CNY songs.hahaha..she's pretty atas and totaly hates it whenever i break into a song of such.haha..thank you for loving all of us and taking care of us like we were your kids. We love you!muaks!

and my mgr aka small boss for being so spontaneous when you got saboed by me today! you know I still love you and u're adorably cute whenever you're gan chiong or shy!hahahaha.....u're the best boss in the dept and I'm truly thankful for you saving me whenever I'm in deep shit.heh..

The Climb

And we celebrate yet again..the winning of awards!

Although you always load us with lots of work and last minute tasks,we know it is for the better, and not only reflects well on us or the department but the employees truly appreciate the efforts we put in.

The night of celebration was truly fun and relaxing,it did bring us all closer but someone had to thwart the whole mood the Monday after the weekend by sending a very rude email to our "treasurer". We were truly disgusted yet brushed it off and laugh the matter away.

Definitely looking forward to our next event ---> Carol's wedding! ;)
