The ties that bind...

it was an eventful weekend...and I'm still trying to absorb all the news and events tt just took place...

Sat went to visit my colleague, Jaslyn's lil girl. She had just given birth a week back and it was a bundle of JOY just looking at the lil one. She is sooooooooo small and CUTTEE!!lovely lips...and tt feeling of serenity when u look at her. Caught up with Jas as well...and her place is very windy!reminds me very much of estee's place.

Sunday was a very packed day...and this is when I'm still trying to absorb all tt happened.

Something happened during dance prac....our in charge wasn't around and this other co-worker (A) decided to take things in her hands and started leading warm ups and stuff when she wasn't supposed to. And den after warm up,she wanted to teach the kids some steps...but they were rather restless and she just scolded em.sigh...the kids looked rather shocked and hurt....thank God for the other co-worker (B) who did a very matured and swift crisis management and gues wat? (A) is supposed to be more mature den either of us. So both (B) and I tried to ease the situation and we were praying very hard for the kids to not be affected by what was said.

sigh...gotta keep (A) in prayers too....her views and ours are totally different...her background and ours too.

DEN...went to attend gil's dad's wake. and it was there tt i found out so many other stuff la...like..the latest couples in church.....the latest other gossips...tt i shldn't be typing here...so....so much info to absorb.it's just pretty unbelievable.

Was sitting at the table with her and her mum...i sure hope...this is the start.i've changed.and i hope u see it too. and they will see it too. i love you guys. :)

on side note....my relationship with my younger bro is getting closer.and it's prolly because we're both the middle kids and we go thru/went thru similar incidents and so....able to relate to each other. I nv stop him from complaining bout mum when she chides him...and much as i disapprove of what mum does,i try to challenge him from the other aspect and to see it fomr another point of view...w/o sounding like i'm not supporting him or blaming him.so i guess bro sees me as someone he can confide in or just complain bout it whenever she does something unreasonable.and.....he told me who he likes!!!

my younger bro has definitely matured...much more than i expected...if we nv talk bout bgr ytd,i wld still have treated him like the lil boy he used to be.much as he likes someone, he knows he shldn't be doing anything bout it.so..i'm glad he knows what to do.good for him! i'm just thankful tt we're getting closer...

cld have been closer to older bro if not for my distrust to someone..and because of tt i can't confide in bro...knowing tt he'll spill the beans to parents too.so...older bro's r/s and mine is like a "can tell him surface secrets but nothing personal".bet he's thankful for whatever i know bout a particular co-worker.else...everyone's still quite in the dark bout what's going on.and as asst min head,he has every right to know all these before anyone else.so bro...it's only for ur ears to hear.and parents' of course!

as for youngest bro....haha....he's funny.aiya...i dote on him.but i'm fair.i dote on my younger bro too.youngest bro is cute....ya...in his cute lil way.haha.. LOVES!

If you're wondering or DISAPPOINTED (haha..so thick skinned) why I haven been uploading pics or updating my blog...it's cos my com at home has some error and we can't locate the windows XP cd.if you have one tt we can try to see if it revives my com...pls......lend to me ok??

My photos are all there!! *Sobs* tt's not the worrying part...but all my hard work...publicity tt i've done for ABCs and the many past events are all nt saved in the E drive.

Reconciliation

i dreamt of em last night.....i dreamt tt all of us were a t some dinner....and they happily snapped pictures w/o me.and because i know things can nv be the same, i smiled at them having fun even tho my heart was hurting and i yearn to be part of it too.

sigh...1 wrong move and it can ruin ur entire friendship. and tt was my folly. yes.i missed em.i wish we could be young again...i wish i hadn't been so impulsive.

many have been praying for me..and encouraging me.the time probably hasn't come and i pray tt we will be reconciled again.

i really miss those happy days....

i'm so tired of playing the game....i've finally given up...can i just throw in the towel now?it's just not fair.but yes.i'm finally glad...i feel this way!!woohoo....whee!!

It was fun catching up with Winnie dear today!! Didn't know she felt this way....until we had our catch up. worrying over similar issues tt we've been talking bout since the hay days...and still going on and on and on and on and on about it.

Thanks darling! for being tt fren who's always literally there! meeting me at the very last minute.the gossip sessions were girly-licious!

And i'm just glad to be just so transparent with u.....literally pouring everything i've been keeping since goodness knows when. can't wait to meet up with u again nxt week! u'll be fine dear!quit worrying ok??

Fel dearest!i'm glad you asked me out last saturday....reminiscing bout the good old days...from primary..to secondary...and now....we're talking bout marriage and family!!haha....it's been awhile..and talking bout the schmates who still keep in touch..and how we totally suck as compared to em.well...now tt i'm back in tam....it's high time we got the ball rolling again!! I love you...as much as I used to....days we spent hanging out and playing when we were just kids still seems so fresh in my memory..it's as if..we nv grew up. cycling at pasir ris park soon yeah? den.....off to whatever workouts we can do together...and how can we forget...SHOPPING for good bargains!!the cheaper the better!! love you dearie!!muaks!

Batam Day 1, Evening

So....I stopped with photos from Batam day 1, in the afternoon.....here's Batam day 1, evening..

Day 1 -- in the evening..

Our main aim tt evening, was not to do more fashion shopping....but to find a place to fill our stomachs and to shop for sanitary napkin, fruits,snacks and whatever we'll like to junk on for the rest of our trip. and so.....let the pictures do the talking.

den she got all excited at the barrels and barrels of dried snacks to be fried.

and we followed suit...

yun hui decided that she'll rather go for those tt she can show off a whole array of choices...

i thought i'll give my dearest a hand by showing it off together....alas...joanna looks...TAK GLAM!!

it's time to pay for our groceries!! the queue there is as mad as Giant and Carrefour here...and so...we entertained ourselves again with......

we were so impressed at how friendly the crew was t we decided to take a picture of em.Seriously..they are by far one of the best customer service staff i've ever encountered. VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL and SPONTANEOUS!!

we really just can't stop taking pictures. This is what happens when u're too stressed at work and need to have a getaway to relax..and relax...we did.

So after dinner.....we had a short shopping spree....not much time to shop..and so....we decided to explore the mall in other different ways...

Batam - Part 1 (Day 1 Till Afternoon)

Thought I'll post up slowly by days...or rather..bit by bit..if not..too many to view also.heh..so....here's...part of

Day 1 of the Batam Trip...

At the Check in Counter (Harbourfront)

It was really really crowded and even though I was in spag and shorts,i was actually PERSPIRING! There were a few pple arguing because u know..some pple were cutting queue and tickets from all ferries were limited....lucky us, the agent had already booked for us,we just had to queue to get our tics.so while waiting...Ruth took 2 pics of yunz and I...there's a pic of ruth,but it's not with me.

look at the difference...with flash and w/o. Looks like we were clubbing or something eh?

In the ferry...

thank God, we managed to get seat facing each other. the ferry was packed too and we were like one of the last few to enter.it was rather comfortable i wld say..

and these were taken while i was asleep in the ferry,guarding their belongings too!heh

At the Immigration..Long Wait

As you know..immigrations are always packed with pple and the customs always seem to take very long to get things stamped. Plus, I was really unlucky to get my period on tt day....so i felt really uncomfortable and u know what i mean la...so....Yunz and ruth decided we shld take funny poses but none of em was really up to the challenge and so, i volunteered to be the clown.

Shopping-Part 1 (in the afternoon)
The toddler tt ruth and yunz fell in love with..

at some 'pasar malam' look alike.but nothing to buy.we bought more stuff at the nearby shopping mall.Ruth spent almost all the money she had exchanged.She wanted to use credit card initially,but the machines there couldn't read the card.weird. The shopping mall isn't very small nor very big, but it's kinda like a deparmental store.they had a sale at tt time..so the 2 dear ladies bought loads!Then we saw the above mentioned pasar malam and decided to just walk thru and take a look.Nothing much,unlike bangkok's night market...so...they were amused and entertained by the toddler

Taking a short break after all tt shopping.our feet were really aching! We were actually walking ard, trying to see if there's any nice place for our dinner....den we were like at this junction,me feeling tired cos of the period, decided to sit down for awhile while the other 2 ladies scout around. tt's when yunz sat down next to me and ruth tot we looked really cute and decided to snap a few shots.
