Been a busy week....weekend more likely..thought i'll be able to get some rest on Sat evening,but the party ended really late.
Anyway,as you can see,Joanna's been pretty good lately...lots of good food and meet ups with my dearest friends...more pics to be uploaded.
God has been testing my FAITH of late. And taking charge of the netball team is 1 example.
It wasn't my plan to take charge at all and the past few matches there was always Serene and Lynn to take charge...but Lynn had to get married and transferred to another church...while Serene HAD TO GET married too and follow caleb to ShenYang.
Maybe by taking charge, it's a prophesy tt i'll be the next to get married and move off somewhere.haha..okok..tt will definitely NOT happen to me.heh...
So anyway,Serene's plans were so last minute tt I didn't have much time to really coordinate the whole netball thing.
But God is so faithful, he didn't stop providing us with players. Even till the last minute when some player cldn't make it, at the very last hr, we will manage to find someone to take the place.And it's has been an encouragement to me to see these gals playing with such enthusiasm esp when the players aren't even from our church. So....I really thank God for his providence and his faithfulness. and for providing not just any lousy players but players who have been putting up a good fight for COS!
So...we have won 1, lost 1. Pretty sure we wun end up like last yr, coming in last. Praise God!
On another note....if you wanna hear bout funny stuff...well here it is.
It seems joanna has this motherly 'figure' or look. I brought Faith and Esther poh along for netball ytd and this new player who isn't from our church asked if they were my daughters.haha....and she asked so innocently, you wun even feel insulted or anything. Plus, it wasn't unusual hearing such comments since I've been commonly mistaken as miah's mum on many occasions.
Maybe it's time to lose some weight..hahaha....since i cld be tagged and asked if i were pregnant.Whether it's out of sarcasm or curiosity tt pple mistake me as a mum..it doesn't really bother me. So wat if i'm fat?heh..it doesn't bother me....not as much as it used to.days when i'll diet like crazy...exercise like mad...now...i just make sure i dun exceed a certain amt..i'm fine. My self esteem don't just rely on my weight.. so...my dear girls...much as u wanna lose wt, do it the right way and know tt being slim isn't the only way to attract guys alright? *Hugz*
